NexPoD Energy is hiring an Equipment Engineer to commission, debug, and maintain every piece of machinery in our BESS pack assembly facility — from laser welding stations to high-voltage EOL testers. If you are the person who reads the machine manual before anyone else and finds the fault before it becomes a shutdown, we need you.
What You'll Own
- Lead installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of all shop-floor equipment
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and controls-level faults on assembly machinery
- Build and execute the preventive maintenance schedule for the entire line: laser welders, formation testers, OCV stations, gantry cranes, and more
- Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) at supplier facilities in India and China before equipment ships
- Reduce unplanned downtime through structured RCA, TPM implementation, and spare parts planning
- Train operators and technicians on correct equipment operation and safety protocols
- Be the single point of technical contact between NexPoD and equipment OEMs
You Are
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- 4–8 years maintaining and commissioning automated manufacturing equipment
- Familiar with PLC-controlled machinery, servo systems, laser systems, or HV test equipment
- Comfortable travelling to China or other supplier locations for FAT
- Someone who takes pride in zero unplanned downtime
- Bonus: Experience with battery pack assembly lines, formation equipment, or EOL testers
