NexPoD Energy is hiring a Senior Business Development Lead to spearhead our commercial launch. We are building state-of-the-art C&I energy storage systems in Coimbatore, and we need a heavy hitter to get us in the room with the right factory owners, textile magnates, and EPC contractors.
We don't need a junior rep to knock on doors. We need an industry insider who can close pilot projects and build a massive sales pipeline.
What You'll Own
- Open doors and secure early Letters of Intent (LOIs) and pilot projects within the commercial, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.
- Lead high-stakes commercial contract negotiations, defining standard payment schedules, structuring advances, and securing favorable retention clauses.
- Architect and negotiate complex capacity agreements, including multi-year terms and managing pricing variables like 3% index-linked annual adjustments to protect margins.
- Shift the customer conversation away from raw CapEx costs and focus heavily on long-term per-kWh energy savings and grid independence.
- Build and manage a network of high-potential channel partners, EPCs, and distributors to scale our market reach quickly.
- Feed direct market intelligence back to the founding team to guide future product development and capacity planning.
You Are
- 8+ years of hardcore B2B sales and business development experience in energy, heavy electricals, solar, or industrial automation.
- Highly connected โ you already have a Rolodex of decision-makers in major manufacturing hubs.
- A master of B2B energy finance โ you know how to structure a deal that makes financial sense for the buyer and keeps our factory profitable.
- A self-starter who thrives in a startup environment where you define the playbook.
