NexPoD Energy is hiring a Technical Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between our engineering floor in Coimbatore and our future customers. Facility managers do not buy batteries; they buy solutions to peak tariffs and power outages. We need you to prove exactly how our systems solve their problems.
You will not be making cold calls. You will be the technical closer who walks into a room, looks at a factory's load profile, and proves that our BESS is the only logical choice.
What You'll Own
- Analyze factory electricity bills, diesel consumption data, and grid instability reports to size the exact BESS capacity required for C&I clients.
- Build bulletproof financial models that clearly demonstrate ROI, calculating precise per-kWh pricing and payback periods to win against traditional generators.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, preliminary single-line diagrams, and system architecture presentations to plant heads and facility engineers.
- Work directly with our electrical engineering team to ensure customer requirements translate perfectly into our product specifications.
- Act as the technical authority in client meetings, confidently answering deep-dive questions on LFP chemistry, cycle life, and BMS integrations.
You Are
- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in pre-sales, applications engineering, or technical sales within solar, EV, or energy storage.
- Deeply analytical — you love spreadsheets, load curves, and proving a business case through hard data.
- Able to translate complex power electronics terminology into a clear financial benefit for a business owner.
